WHAT IS MEDITATION?

THERE ISN'T REALLY SPECIFIC DEFINITION FOR MEDITATION BUT THERE ARE MULTIPLE BENEFITS AND WAYS TO EXPERIENCE IT AND DO IT.

I CAN GIVE YOU GUYS VARIOUS DEFINITION OF MEDITATION BASED ON GOOGLE, BOOKS, GURUS, AND SO ON AND SO FORTH BUT, I AM NOT GOING TO DO THAT BECAUSE FOR ME, EVERYONE CAN RESEARCH THE DEFINITION OF MEDITATION, BUT NOT EVERYONE WILL HAVE THE SAME PERCEPTION AND UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT MEDITATION REALLY IS UNTIL THEY EXPERIENCE IT FOR THEMSELVES AND ENJOY THE BENEFITS OF IT.

THAT'S WHY I CAN'T REALLY DEFINE MEDITATION FOR OTHERS, BECAUSE IT IS SOMETHING TO BE EXPERIENCE AND IT IS SOMETHING THAT HAPPENS WITHIN YOURSELF AND NOT OUTSIDE OF YOURSELF.

INSTEAD, I AM GOING TO GIVE YOU GUYS MY YOU OWN DEFINITION OF MEDITATION AND IT'S BENEFITS TO MY PERSONAL LIFE.


SO TO ME, THE SIMPLEST DEFINITION OF MEDITATION IS, MEDITATION IS SOMETHING I DO TO TRAIN AND TEACH MYSELF HOW TO QUIET MY MIND OR SLOW DOWN MY THOUGHTS.

I KNOW MANY OF U ARE PROBABLY ASKING YOURSELF WHY WOULD I WANT TO LEARN HOW TO QUIET MY MIND AND SLOW DOWN MY THOUGHTS? DOES THIS MEAN THINKING IS BAD?

THINKING IS NOT BAD IT IS VERY CRUCIAL FOR SURVIVAL BUT ONLY TO A CERTAIN EXTENT. BECAUSE NOT ALL OUR THOUGHTS ARE NECESSARY AND BENEFICIAL FOR US.THIS IS WHY WE NEED TO FIND A WAY TO FILTER WHAT WE THINK OR AT LEAST LESSENING AND OR SLOWING DOWN OUR THOUGHTS SO WE CAN AVOID HAVING ALOT OF UNNECESSARY AND NEGATIVE THOUGHTS IN OUR EVERYDAY LIFE THAT ARE DRAGGING US DOWN.

ALSO IN THIS WAY,YOU CAN CREATE MORE SPACE FOR THOUGHTS THAT ARE BENEFICIAL AND POSITIVE. AND WHEN YOUR MIND IS CLEAR FROM THOUGHTS THAT AREN'T SERVING YOU WELL YOUR AWARENESS AND CONSCIOUSNESS EXPANDS TOO.

AS A RESULT THINGS THAT REALLY MATTER TO YOU LIKE YOUR GOALS ARE START MANIFESTING INTO YOUR REALITY EASIER WITHOUT EVEN PUTTING TOO MUCH EFFORT. I DON'T MEDITATE EVERYDAY BUT I AM PLANNING TO DO IT MORE OFTEN TO GET MORE PRACTICE AND I CONSIDER MYSELF STILL ON A BEGINNER LEVEL.

THE MEDITATION THAT WORKS FOR ME ARE MOSTLY ANY TYPES OF GUIDED MEDITATION LIKE BREATH FOCUSED BASED, BODY SCAN AND VISUALIZATION MEDITATION. I REALLY LIKE BREATHING MEDITATION BECAUSE IT IS BRINGS ME IN THE PRESENT MOMENT,

THEN, BODY SCAN MEDITATION BECAUSE IT HELPS ME SYNCS MY MIND AND BODY TOGETHER, THEN, THE VISUALIZATION MEDITATION HELPS ME OBSERVES MY MIND AND ALSO GET TO FOCUS ON ANY PHYSICAL SENSATIONS.

I DON'T REALLY FORCE MYSELF TO MEDITATE I JUST USUALLY MEDITATE EVERY TIME I FEEL LIKE I NEED IT, WHEN THE VOICE IN MY HEAD OVERWHELMS ME AND BRINGS ME ANXIETY, STRESS AND OTHER NEGATIVE EMOTIONS FROM OVERTHINKING. I MEDITATE WHILE I AM IN THE SHOWER, WHILE WALKING, AND BEFORE I SLEEP.

THE BENEFITS OF MEDITATION SO FAR IN MY LIFE:

HELPS ME FEEL RELAX & IMPROVES THE QUALITY OF MY SLEEP

SO WHEN I CAN'T SLEEP BECAUSE I AM STRESS ABOUT SOMETHING OR I AM FEELING NEGATIVE ABOUT SOMETHING OR SOMEONE I MEDITATE I WOULD JUST OFTEN FALL ASLEEP WHILE THE GUIDED AUDIO OR VIDEO MEDITATION IS STILL ON. THEN,WHEN I WAKE UP I FEEL GOOD AND ENERGIZED.

HELPS ME GREATLY IN CONTROLLING MY EMOTIONS.

SINCE THE QUALITY OF MY THOUGHTS AND THE WAY I THINK ABOUT CERTAIN THINGS CHANGED, IT ALSO IMPROVED MY EMOTIONAL JUDGEMENTS AND CHOICES. I GET TO CONTROL NOW BETTER IF I WILL LET NEGATIVE THOUGHTS CONTROL MY EMOTIONS RIGHT AWAY. BECAUSE BEFORE I HAVE THE TENDENCY TO REACT RIGHT AWAY IN CERTAIN NEGATIVE THOUGHTS THAT I HAVE IN MY MIND. I KNOW I CAN GET MORE BENEFITS FROM MEDITATION IF I WILL DO IT MORE OFTEN.

IN CONCLUSION, MEDITATION IS REALLY IMPORTANT TOOL TO EXPAND OUR CONSCIOUSNESS AND AWARENESS BY IMPROVING THE WAY WE THINK AND IMPORTANT TOOL IN MANIFESTATION.
